The ancient forest has always operated on a simple agreement between all who enter: respect what you find, take only what is freely given, and leave the rest for those who come after. Deep Roots' terms are the written form of that agreement.
The forest
Deep Roots is a free, browser-based memory card game. Match ancient tree and woodland pairs, count the rings, and reach the heart of the grove. No payment. No account.
All foresters welcome
Players of every age are welcome beneath the canopy. Deep Roots is non-violent, gambling-free, and appropriate for all audiences.
Root score
Points accumulate per matched pair, with a ring multiplier for consecutive successes. Root scores are session-only and carry no monetary value.
No wagering in the grove
Deep Roots contains no virtual currency, no loot systems, no betting mechanics, and no randomised prizes.
Intellectual property
All game assets belong to their creators. Personal play is freely permitted. Commercial reproduction requires prior written consent.
Prohibited conduct
Automated bots, exploit tools, and deliberate disruption of other foresters are strictly prohibited.
No eternal canopy
Deep Roots is provided as-is. We hold no liability for indirect losses from gameplay or service outages.

These terms may change. The date above marks the current version. Continued play is acceptance.
